Suspended Ceiling Squares

• In a brief provided by the architect, we were asked to produce a range of suspended ceiling squares, an alternative to standard coridor lighting.

• The key considerations were: Producing 3 different sizes, dimmable capabilities and meeting light output regulations for the space.

• As with all new projects, we started with some samples to present to the architect - different sizes and different light outputs.

• The dimmer unit was required to be concealed on each unit to allow individual dimming.

• A challenge was to ensure the profile fitted flush at the corners to avoid light emanation, so the mitering needed to be precise.
