Digital LED

• Working with the project manager we were asked to develop a ceiling light feature, suggesting flow and movement, directing the customers from the cinema entrance through to the concessions stand.

• With this project came a new product to us, programmable digital LED tape.

• Three pieces of software were sampled, until we were confident in how the finished product could be customised and controlled.

• Our ventillated control unit was specifically designed to contain the control system and power supplies.

• Initially we met the project manager with a sample to fine tune the speed, movement and colour transition.

• The full product was finalised and delivered to site, where we oversaw the installation.

• Although operational, we were asked to return to site to troubleshoot issues with the LED length and to install an additional controller to allow the feature to be split into two sections.
